The year was 1990. The cost of a
first class stamp was a mere quarter. Seinfeld
debuted on NBC. Cincinnati won the World Series
and Wood Landscape Services, Ltd. had its modest
beginnings in the Clintonville home of founder,
Thomas M. Wood.
Tom’s original vision was to provide creative
design and full service maintenance and that
goal remains unchanged today. The company’s
growth has been steady. In the early years it
was not uncommon for the company to double in
size annually. As new systems and processes are
developed and implemented, the business
continues to achieve solid growth.
The focus has never been to be the biggest in
the industry, but to be the best. Recently, the
company has concentrated on implementing an
industry specific software program and the
principles of LEAN management. These programs
add value to our clients while cultivating our
company culture dedicated to continuous
improvement.
Over twenty years later,
Wood Landscape Services, Ltd. remains one of
the industry leaders in providing quality and
uncompromised service to its growing clientele.
